Puerto Rico is a country situated in the Caribbean that has been in the frequent path of hurricanes. One of the most devastating hurricanes to hit Puerto Rico was Hurricane Maria, in 2017. This hurricane caused devasting damage on the island of Puerto Rico leaving many families without a roof on their home and a lack of resources or aid to repair the damage. ALC partners with a local Pastor, Pastor Rolando, to serve these families by replacing the roof on their home. It is a great mission opportunity that makes a huge difference in the life of the family we serve. This is a fantastic hands-on ministry project for those who like to work with their hands. But no previous experience is required.  
 
The team will have the opportunity to encourage Pastor Rolando and his church, work on the roof and other needed repairs on the home, encourage the family, and experience some of the amazing culture of Puerto Rico.
