ALASKA Trip 2019

Who should go?  Ideal person is someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys a good adventure (traveling is exciting by Bush Flight or Boat Ride) enjoys working as part of a team, has experience with construction, electrical, mechanical, operating heavy equipment, tools, building, painting, cleaning, or enjoys working outdoors & indoors. The Kitchen Crew is primarily indoors all week cooking meals for the team and helps with various indoor projects and preparing cookies for the upcoming summer camps.  Age is open to minors (middle school and older) accompanied by a parent or adult. Minor must be approved by leader, and able to work independently safely and complete tasks assigned to them.

Mission Purpose:  Kokrine Hills ministers to the many villages along the Yukon River and beyond. As a team, we will prepare the camp for the multiple camps of children and staff for Summer of 2019 through various projects around the camp.

Mission Project:  Team will be doing various work projects (primarily outdoors) at Kokrine Hills Bible camp along the Yukon River.  The team will be helping to restore parts of the camp from the harsh winter and preparing the camp to receive kids over the summer.  This camp provides an opportunity for kids to hear and experience the love of Jesus
