Hey Parents!
In these uncertain times it is so important that we be Jesus’ hands extended in the area of service. Being a great role model for our kids and community by providing acts of service for others will make our community aware that the church is alive and loving on others.
Our Key Verse in Elementary for the month of March is John 15:12-13:
“This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way that I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
This week, reach out to neighbors and friends with a phone call, offer porch delivery with groceries, have your kids write letters and notes and make drawings to send to others to brighten their days during these times of isolation.
Think outside the box and let the Holy Spirit be your guide. ALC will be here to help for those of you who need help through prayer and our care network (updated information is always available here.
